"ShadowMe" is a new app that allows you to "lurk" on Twitter as any user of your choice.
This doesn't mean that you can sign in as anyone and tweet for them, but it does allow you to see the tweets from their followers and what comes up in their timeline. Apparently, it works equally well for celebrities or accounts with 10 followers.
This could be interesting for marketers who want to find out what interests their customers by seeing their custom build Twitter stream, but I somehow feel like it would be used a little more casually than that and is probably just a little useless. Via Ally Greer, gwynethjones

Now, researchers at the University of Georgia have found a way to transform the carbon dioxide trapped in the atmosphere into useful industrial products. Their discovery may soon lead to the creation of biofuels made directly from the carbon dioxide in the air that is responsible for trapping the sun's rays and raising global temperatures. As a writer, I find this set of predictions both interesting and, well, less than overwhelming. I'd like to see more creativity, especially with regard to the "least likely" possibilities, and less focus on tech companies. I'm more interested in thinking about what life might be like, than in which social media giant is on top. What predictions do you have, and what do you think are the odds for or against?
