I've Been Using Evernote All Wrong. Here's Why It's Actually Amazing | information analyst | Scoop.it

InstaNotes is an open source project which can be forked at github: https://github.com/studyers/instanotes

InstaNotes is a cool tool if you need to take a quick note and send it to your mail.
You can of course also send it to your friends.

One need to login with his/her Facebook account before sending the note to mail (so no need for registration).

InstaNotes is a learning project in which we have learnt node.js, express.js and using NoSQL dbs (Mongodb for storing the notes and Redis for storing sessions).
To summarize: InstaNotes is Node.js & Express.js in the back, Redis & Mongo as DB engines, jQuery and JavaScript as front (including localStorage, to save the notes locally).
