we find that US digital-video advertising revenue from PC- and mobile-based video ads will top nearly $5 billion this year, and grow at a five-year compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 21.9%. Total revenue will reach $13.3 billion by year-end 2020, according to BI Intelligence estimates based on historical data from the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB).

Uber, the fast-growing ride-hailing service with a reported $50 billion valuation, unveiled the first renderings this week for a massive extension to its headquarters in the Mission Bay neighborhood of San Francisco.

The two new adjoining buildings have nearly 425,000 feet of space in total — enough to fit "several thousand people," according to one source familiar with the project. The buildings and walkways between are designed feature a transparent glass design.

The Pending Home Sales Index,* a forward-looking indicator based on contract signings, increased 3.4 percent to 112.4 in April from a slight upward revision of 108.7 in March and is now 14.0 percent above April 2014 (98.6) — the largest annual increase since September 2012 (15.1 percent). The index has now increased year-over-year for eight consecutive months and is at its highest level since May 2006 (112.5).
