The Relationship That Trumps Them All

Forgiveness pertains to a past – a reality that only exists in the versions of stories with the ones who choose to keep it – and it’s only of consequence to those who choose to allow it to be. We only exist in two timeframes: We exist now, and we will exist in our future. Forgiveness doesn’t exist because it’s attached to a past. I just am, and we just are. …and we always display who we are by how we communicate to the world. The only thing you can do is act in certain way in the moment and paint a future. It isn’t that we must forgive, because that’s not even the issue. A person who cannot forgive is stuck in a reality that doesn’t exist. Would you keep watching a really really bad, terrible movie over and over? Of course not, and so why would anyone keep playing a story in their mind that should simply be thrown in the trash. Time Distortion and Micro Decisions

We have this incredible ability to make decisions – to say yes or no – to continue down a path or to go onto an entirely different path … in every moment, now. The crazy thing is that most of the stories, decisions, ways of being, goals, are actually not our own – they are given to us through the process of equilibrium… …just by being around things and people, we adopt certain ways, thoughts, ideas, habits, goals, and beliefs. Just by being around them! What’s that say? – Be careful who you’re around and who’s around you. You can even say that success is an outer game. We change what surrounds us, our life can take on an entirely new path. Some may say, “I have no control as to what’s around me and the circumstance I surround myself with… ” … but at what point do you begin to take the reigns of your life and sit in the driver-seat?

Thinking otherwise would be naive. We have these hardwired emotions that have evolved after millions of years of the human species' survival. You and I are almost perfect in our makeup... ...the emotions we have that we feel automatically were the product of the millions of success stories that came before us. We are the product of these success stories because those that didn't have the proper emotions were weeded out of existence! Our ancestors who didn't have certain fears did not survive. When we experience a moment where our lives are endangered, we immediately feel a rush of adrenaline that makes us run faster, not feel pain, become extremely focused — all designed so that we can survive....

Answers are not the answers. I remember my first conversation with a millionaire, a few years ago. His name was Darin, and my friend put me on the phone with him. Very down to earth guy, and a very good speaker. He would rattle of quotes and genius lines whenever he trained on the stage - about leadership, team building, and business building. I remember in the very beginning of my home-based business, the very first thing he wanted to figure out from me that dramatically changed my business, was my "Why".

The Mother Of All Skill

I remember one of my mentors, a guy named Jeff, they called him “The Millionaire-Maker”, talked about how when you read a book, and finish it, put it in a shelf… …you re-read that book a year later and realize that it’s an entirely different book! It wasn’t that the book was different, you were different. My mentor calls it…. Plan, Do, Review. You first acquire information, you apply it, then you learn from the feedback. This idea, if you apply this simple profound piece of wisdom, will change you life – here’s why: It doesn’t say, “Plan, Plan, Plan, Plan, Plan…” It says: You plan, you do, and then you review – then from that, you are now a better person, and you plan, do, and review… Doing this over and over is the road to mastery of skill.

Reframing, in itself, can be an art. Our reality is created by a “filter” in our mind. You see, we don’t actually see things with our eyes… actually, light travels through atmosphere, by reduction or addition of rays, appear to become a certain color… then as it hits our retina, it’s inverted, travels through nerves and ultimately arrives in our brain… At that point, we “see” what seems to be what we think we see.
