An integral part of ITD is knowing the properties of materials and how they can be utilized to create artifacts. As we progress further into the 21st century, the push for more sustainable, environmentally friendly materials is becoming more prominent. An example of eco-friendly projects is this cardboard chair. It was fabricated entirely from 100% recycled cardboard, and required no adhesive or other harmful substances during construction.

Hi Jake. I love this design. Will chase down the designer and see what else they have to offer. Could be the beginning of something fun for my junior ITD classes especially with workshop space at a premium in some schools.
