Have sympathy for the city's drivers, who were recorded as suffering 33,240 stop-starts per year, meaning they spent 27.22% of their total travel time going nowehere.

Ok, nice efforts for upgrading... but as I understand there is no funding from government or other sources involved and all is based on the self-help capacity of the inhabitants.

I do not think that this is enough for the enourmous bulk of Indonesian kampungs.
