iPhone 6 Plus Camera Review: Iceland

iPhone 6 Plus Camera Review: Iceland | Indie Filmmaking | Scoop.it

This year I had the opportunity to be at Apple’s Keynote where they
announced the iPhone 6, 6 Plus and the Watch. It was truly a sight to behold, as they unveiled each of these products in a their oh-so-Apple way (and the U2 concert was an amazing bonus!)

Every year, the new iPhone  is packed with new features across the board but for us photographers we really just want to know one thing: what does all this mean for my camera and how does it make my pictures better than before?

Jeremy Wilker's insight:

nice review and results. cool.

Gumroad Makes Direct Distribution Seamless & Adds Filmmaker Specific Features

Gumroad Makes Direct Distribution Seamless & Adds Filmmaker Specific Features | Indie Filmmaking | Scoop.it
People are not only starting to accept direct distribution -- they are really starting to get the hang of it. Gumroad is one of the leading tech companies in this space, distributing everything from PSD files, music, books, and film. We caught up with Ryan Delk to talk about their model and new features for filmmakers.
Jeremy Wilker's insight:

cool. gumroad is truly an easy to use platform that simply works. however, it is still lacking a few features. for example, I've published a novel by my father-in-law (www.pikesplaque.com) and gumroad was awesome --- except you can NOT order multiple copies of an item. it is single-item only, and you have to go back, click buy again each time to increase the quantity. this is simple multiplication, why do they not have it built-in to the cart?!? anyway, it does work great otherwise!
