Frank Rose:  "It's never been easy to market an indie film—but in a blockbuster universe, getting people to care about a low-budget production devoid of stars and lacking the enormous, built-in fan base of The Dark Knight or The Hunger Games can seem all but impossible."

Het promoten van 'kleine', onafhankelijk geproduceerde films is vaak moeilijk. Hier een schets van een andere weg naar een groter publiek. Productie en promotie van films kunnen door internet en IP tv sowieso niet meer op de oude manier.

Drucker’s Knowledge Worker in the Age of Social Media: Content Curation for Professional Development

Drucker’s Knowledge Worker in the Age of Social Media: Content Curation for Professional Development | IndianHospitality | Scoop.it

"Over half a century ago, management guru Peter Drucker presented the concept of the knowledge worker. Compared to the manual laborer, the knowledge worker focused on quality over quantity and worked more independently as problem solvers."

Over the many applications of Social Content Curation, Professional Development has been a strong trend. We keep observing it on Scoop.it but it's also been reported by Social Media influencers.

As more and more of us become Knowledge Worker, it should be no suprise that Content takes a growing importance on our Professional lives. So here's our take on it and why we announced this new integration with LinkedIn earlier today.

Dr. Pamela Rutledge's comment, May 27, 2013 4:26 AM
LucaVanin - It can have the same connotation of untruth in the west; just depends on context (and who's paying!) In Entertainment, of course, no one worries about superficial truth. Even (especially?) in Reality TV. What matters is the universal truth that stories can deliver. That is the real litmus test of truth.

Buried several hundred pages into a new World Economic Forum report on global tourism, past the sections on air travel infrastructure and physician density (by which they mean the number of physicians per capita, not the mass-per-cubic-meter of individual doctors), are some very interesting numbers. The WEF has compiled survey data from 140 countries estimating the attitude of each countries’ population toward foreign visitors. - Finland among more welcoming!
