Breakout Session 1- Develop: Growth of Social Enterprises
The goal of social enterprises is the training and employment of people typically excluded from the mainstream economy while generating revenues. However, despite the increase in the presence of social enterprises in the region, most social enterprises are focused in capital cities. This session highlight inclusiveness between stakeholders as well as the recognition and promotion of social enterprises to create greater social impact. It shall also explore how social enterprises contribute to sustainability and how its growth will help create future opportunities and partnerships across different sectors.
