The good times are back in Champagne, with the famed sparkling wine region on course for a record-breaking year. The first sales figures published by the Champagne region for 2015 point to a record year. The region’s wine trade association, the Comité interprofessionnel du vin de Champagne (CIVC), reported that turnover is likely to hit an all-time high of 4.75 billion euros – an increase of 5.5 percent on 2014.
