Barack Obama's Big Education Choice

Barack Obama's Big Education Choice | Improving Your Teaching Practice | Scoop.it

Heather MacCorkle Edick's insight:

How very true this is.  I wish I had had more time in grade school to learn math.  I believe my confidence and ability would have increased and I would have been able to do well in high school if I had been able to take my time and truly understand what they were trying to teach me during my younger years.

10 Learning Lessons From Albert Einstein

10 Learning Lessons From Albert Einstein | Improving Your Teaching Practice | Scoop.it

Just because a person is smart doesn’t make them a great teacher, and why that is happens to be another topic entirely.

Here is a great quote from Einstein about learning:

"Everybody is a genius.  But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid."
