It also explains that IMC is not a vague and general strategy but a precisely structured and targeted strategy. IMC is a data-driven approach which identifies the consumer insights which is operated via both offline and online mediums in order to produce a strong relationship between brand and consumers.

i liked this article Vivien,it sumarises the intergrated marketing communications.In its simplicity it gives the stages which a compony should follow from inception to execution.Coupled with adhering to synergy, a successful campaign will result.i like the idea of measuring consumer response and executing action. I guess this also allows a company to disengage from a mode of communication which does not have results.

I like this article, It gives me a better understanding of what is "intergrated" and how it intergrated. the messages to be conveyed through different mediums should be the same. People controlling the process of market communication and that identifies where the investments are being done and what is bringing more return on investment. Every company who wants to success take that as a important part to gain profit.

IMC integrates various methods of marketing e.g. advertising, PR, promotion, use of SNS etc to create brand value and deliver it to consumers aka target audience. The integrated use of marketing strategies enables to produce stronger brand awareness which will lead to higher profits for the business. This article emphasises that successful implementation of IMC relies on clear understanding of target audience. This relates to the 'step one' mentioned in the other article that I posted too. As product should always satisfy customer expectations to improve brand value and brand loyalty, it is always essential to understand and note target customers' needs and wants.

well said, i guess the key thing for me was not to do a campaign for no reason.The article mentions how it should be purposeful and targeted.The example for Nike clearly spells out targeting the right audience and the kind of media that appeals to them.In this the best promotion should be targeted to colleges and the likes of social media where they frequent the most.

this is a good explain of how the direct target audience is important. marketer has to relise specifically their needs and expectations. that leads to a understand of who all are the highest users of your product. so as a marketer, a great knowlodge of target market is necessary, also has to keep in touch with new tech and originality

Making sure you have a plan in place is essential for any business. The IMC planning process is a great tool for a company to begin planning. I think analysing your situation in the market (SWOT) is important as it allows you to be aware of where you are currently are, and opportunities of where you could be in the future.
