Miklos, you have made fabulous points. Many thanks for sharing them. Our voices may be small, but if we keep sharing, more people will see these. If one person gains benefit from these videos, then the world is a better place already.

I have been blessed with wonderful peers, mentors and teachers during my 27 years as a Vistage Chair. They  have similar shared Values of: Trust, Caring, Challenge, and Growth. And with these people it has always been based on Dan Ariely's Social Norm the foundation being Trust and Relationship.  See the Youtube: Dan Ariely: The Cost of Social Norms.

I think this issue is confusing for executives. They may think this is only a face to face presentation form of storytelling when I think the focus should also be on the multimedia delivery of storytelling to for internal and external communication.

Hi Parker -- I appreciate you adding your voice here. In my experience, executives are too quick to put their stories into digital media. The ability to build a personal connection is lost when doing so. There are times when moving a story into digital media is important, but far greater value is created when sharing stories in person.

Karen Dietz' insight on the article and the new "storydoing" buzzword: If you're building a new company, you have the chance to integrate "storydoing" from the very beginning -- (likely this will evolve and morph as the company matures). With an established company, match the corporate culture with the marketing/branding and make a stand.
