In the future, learning is going to be very different from today in many ways that you can hardly imagine. As technology becomes more advance, we use digital media to help us learn and the need of a live teacher reduces, thus in the future, we could even have home lessons where we can study in our homes and not go to school.

I think these are also characteristics of a digitally competent learner. Teachers certainly need these skills before they can teach the next generation.

Imagine diverse learning ecosystems where learning adapts to each child rather than each child trying to adapt to school (which tends to be programmed).  This puts the learner in charge where youngssters can develop their own innate skills inspired from home schooling.

21st century classrooms offer more than new gadgets

The topic of 21st century teaching at District 423 likely conjures images of laptops, SMART boards connected to computers and fancy handheld devices. While that’s certainly part of 21st century learning, the nuts and bolts may look different than many expect.

I have chosen this article as it shows how the future learning of students will be like. Schools are slowly involving students in computer based learning. This is done to encourage students to be more knowledgeable at work with the aid of internet. E-learning infographics enables students to understand the concepts of a particular subject better because it summaries the main points and presents them in an attractive manner which will grasp the students' attentions. This will remain in their memory. In this way, students will find learning fun.
