I agree with the article with the fact that direct marketing is more and more important nowadays. Direct marketing removes the "middle man" from the promotion process, as a company's message is provided directly to a potential customer. It helps consumers to understand more about the company's product or services, and also allows companies to communicate with the consumers directly either with emails or on platforms like Facebook and Twitter.
