Personally I don't read anything apart from important messages in my email so I cant say using email is effective but word of mouth can be. Word of mouth is based on personal experience though and if they had a negative experience they simply will tell you not to go. Satisfaction is a big factor in word of mouth.

This can be awesome for people who work and check their emails constantly also people with smartphones get their emails straight away. Personally its the first thing i check in the morning my emails. This also gives a personalised approach because you can directly email certain individuals as well as bulk groups through email.

Absolutely, always check my emails first thing before I can start other works on the computer. Emails can be very effective and convenient whenever you wanting to send it to whetehr individuals or groups, especially about professional and work matters that need attention ASAP.

With the word of mouth becoming as a fast influential way of effective marketing for marketers nowadays, an organisation should prepare the right touch points to use to reach customers, and employees and staff should also have appropiate knowledge and understanding on how and where consumers normally consume different types of media in order to reach the right target market at the right time and right place.

 

An organisation that creates a complete IMC plan will surely intergrated the connections between their clients and customers. An organisation should be able to maintain communications within their employees and customers and word of mouth can be a powerful tool of marketing their products and services if staff and employees do know the importance of their role, knowing the right touch points to send to different areas where their consumers usually consumes different types of media.

Word of mouth is important especially to me because if my friends tell me that they dont like that brand im not going to use that brand either. So the brand and company needs to market their brand in a positive way.

Word of mouth is in fact very important. There have been many times when friends opinion has lead me to purchase a brand that I was not familiar with. Although, it can also have its negative effects as all consumers percieve it in different ways. Some may react aggresively and hence set out to tarnish the brand name.

This is so true. word of mouth an be so powerful if well used as a way of directly marketing a company's products and services but when it is done wrongly it can create a brand's bad image.
