That about sums it up...However as a teacher spends more time with the iPad and is able to use it as tool to help extend the walls of the classroom, and sees how students collaborate, problem solve, and create the teacher realizes that the iPad is just a tool and it is how he/she uses it in class that will make all the difference in the world. Kinda like IWB; once upon a time if you had an IWB in your classroom regardless of how it was being used one thought they were effectively integrating technology in the curriculum. Now many classrooms do not have IWB because they are not student centered!
