As a result of working with virtualisation and automation they have not only a complete control of IT but also a high efficiency and security.

The virtual datacentre of Jaguar Land Rover is a bit like the private cloud catering to users worldwide and we use public cloud services such as Google’s email client. The aim of this virtual datacentre is to double the manufacturing output by the end of the project while keeping IT spend flat. By using virtualisation and automation they have completed control of IT as well as high efficiency and security.

Mercedes-Benz has followed the idea of Google to make a self-driving car. The technology will be used in ther new S-Class. The car can steer itself in citry traffic, can keep it in its lane going over 120 mph on a highway, can park itself, can brake automatically and can even tell when the driver is becoming fatigued. Unfortunately you can't relax and read your paper in the car while driving. The technology isn't yet that far but it's on his way.

With every kilometer you cycle you get 0.10 euro to purchase things or you can get discounts on products or services.

the Wi-FI provides benefits for both the fans and the club. 

Fan experience will get better and the club can get more data on the fans from the one-time registration they ask the fans to complete to get onto the network. This way the club has a chance to showcase their partners and sponsort through advertising.

Ford has introduced a new concept with 'MyKey'. The company hopes to give a solution to the many young deaths on the road. The concept works with two keys, one for the parents and one for the young driver. The parents will be able to set limits with their master key on the car's speed, radio volume... The other will just be able to start the engine. This is one of the many initiatives to reduce traffic deaths. The black-box for example  is another alternative and gives more information about how and when the vehicle is driven.

With these applications the company can manage over 20.000 miles of track, 4.000 locomotives, tens of thousand of containers and seven container freight yards. The project will lead to savings in IT integration of at least 50%.
