The virtual datacentre of Jaguar Land Rover is a bit like the private cloud catering to users worldwide and we use public cloud services such as Google’s email client. The aim of this virtual datacentre is to double the manufacturing output by the end of the project while keeping IT spend flat. By using virtualisation and automation they have completed control of IT as well as high efficiency and security.

So its benefits both the fans and the players to create a better experience.

The Association of Police Authorities needs a new, more collaborative approach and greater accountability, utilising expertise in IT procurement and freeing police officers to focus on fighting crime. So this is why the Home Office will create a private-sector company to manage police IT.

IT in the NHS has had a bad press in recent years as a result of the problems associated with the now defunct £12bn NHS National Project for IT, but most English doctors believe IT improves patient care.

This IT plan is certainly good for a lot of things. The care of patients should be the biggest concern for the doctors. So why not give it a try? Most doctors in England believe that IT can improve the patient care. However IT in the NHS has had a bad press in recent years as a result of the problems associated with the now-defunc National Programme for IT. Just over half of physicians believe that healthcare IT will result in increased speed of access to health services to patients and will reduce the number of unnecessary interventions and procedures.

Both employee's own devices and company-owned devices could be used. It is seen as a very smart way to avoid big investments in expensive ruggedised devices.

The virtualisation project has given the IT team a lot of cost savings, highly-available infrastructure and a centrally managed environment.

This led the team to look at NAC, bringing technology into the network to offer more than just the ability to connect. The school now has 67 Xirrus access points covering 99.9% of the buildings and providing access to all of its staff and sixth formers.
