Exciting news from storytelling platform Cowbird:
"Big news today! We're partnering with StoryLine to create a home for first-hand accounts of Sandy, the huge storm that devastated the Northeast less than two weeks ago. StoryLine is a collaborative project of HousingisaHumanRight.org, InterOccupy (which includes Occupy Sandy), Occupied Stories and the MIT Center for Civic Media. These Sandy stories will be collected by phone, text message and online and housed on Cowbird in the near future.

UPDATE: We're starting to get emails from people who want to donate, which is wonderful. Here's the deal. We're aiming to raise funds to cover our costs and bring on a part-time project manager. Anyone who signs up for citizenship and emails firstname.lastname@example.org saying they want to help support this project will be listed as a backer on the project page. You can also email email@example.com to arrange bigger donations, and your name will also be added to the list of backers. Thank you all!
