Royal Carribeann Cruises developed a new ship. This ship should give avery customer the full cruise and IT experience. They use all the latetst technologies from tracking luggage with RFID to facial recognition to enter the rooms. This High Tech ship is calles the Oasis ship and is one of a kind. Offcourse a trip on this boat will cost some money because the investments made weren't cheap!

The great majority of hospitals in the United States manage hospital supplies using what is called the Par Level method. One of the strengths of this method, it is claimed, is that it works well in the face of variable usage.

For hospitals it is hard to foresee the supplies they will need for specific operations. this because they can't foresee the most important variable, the human being. The majority of hospitals use the Par Level stockage, but now there is another supplie system on the market, the Kanban. This system should make the chances of running out of stock even smaller and make the delivery time shorter. All very important factors in a hospital.

At the time, this platform was the most innovative platform of all and could contain more information then ever before. 16 years later, this is no longer the case. Since more then 60 million people visit the website daily, the Tax Office postponed the change for a very long time. Now it is finally changing the web platform so it can be updated and put to better use.

With the help of flying drones, packages could be delivered whitin 30 minutes, meaning the end of retail as we know it. Bezos says that with the knowledge of Amazon.com, where the prices are the lowest, and the new drones, they can rule the world of online shopping. The drones each can carry up to 5 pounds of goods and transport them. Offcourse they should find solutions for bad weather, because drones won't survive in windy circumstances.

Zo verhelpt het UZ de medicatiefouten, elk pilletje scannen voor toediening ervan. De pro's van dit systeem zijn idd de vermindering van fouten. Ze kunnen zo exact weten wie er welk pilletje toedient aan wie en zo worden processen tegen dokters en verplegers veel gemakkelijker opgelost. Aan de andere kant heb je de enorme kost van installatie van deze machines en natuurlijk ook het tijdverlies voor het toedienen van elke vorm van medicatie. Beeld u in dat u per dag 15 pilletjes moet nemen. Ik vraag mij af of het tijdverlies en de kost opweegt tegen de voordelen.
