NEW YORK — Months after Hurricane Sandy swamped her little island, the Statue of Liberty will finally welcome visitors again on Independence Day.

AJ and I had tickets for the Statue the day after the storm hit.  Now re-opening almost six months later.  Seems like a huge implication that has had -- and probably will still have -- lots of ripples, more implications both positive and negative.
