What can YOU do to help those in need?

What can YOU do to help those in need? | Hunger Games Teaching Resources | Scoop.it
This evening is the release of the new Hunger Games movie, Catching Fire. We are excited to see the movie.
Tracee Orman's insight:

As fans, we understand the true message of the Hunger Games because we are already living it. The Hunger Games are real. 25 million Americans can’t find full time jobs, 22% of children live in poverty and the top 1% of our citizens control 40% of our economy.

It’s time for fans of the Hunger Games to make sure that message doesn’t get lost in the midst of the glossy spectacle of these brutal games.
