Hiring for culture is the driving force behind the most productive and high-growth companies. This article hits the nail on the head and has some great advice on measuring cultural fit for new hires.

 

At my company, The Employers Edge, we use a very specific set of tools to not only assess pre-hires for the right fit, we also use these tools to determine manager-employee cultural fit.

 

There is most certainly an upfront cost associated with determining cultural fit, but the backside cost of hiring the wrong person, or people, can be exponentially greater.
