I simply like to say that "I'm too stupid to quit!" I've operated with no cheering section or other support for over 15 years while I raise kids alone. I do what I do because I'm compelled to do it and don't see anything as a failure. Afterall, nothing is promised in life. Not even life itself. It's all about the adventure and just going for it. That alone keeps me content. Your best is all you've got in this life. Sometimes it'll be enough, other times it won't. It's just life. No worries!

Tagmotion's curator insight, February 26, 2014 8:52 PM

Terrific article that mentions the importance of being 'in flow' with whatever you're doing in your entrepreneurial venture. And provides a link to a test you can do to find out what that is.

You have to be very tough and resilient when there is no salary cheque at the end of the month!

How to Make Happiness a Habit

How to Make Happiness a Habit | Human Resources and Leadership good practice for SMEs | Scoop.it
I’m not one who believes you can be happy all the time, but I have learned you can be happy much of the time. And that’s not something that depends on how your day is going or how others treat you—it depends on what you do on a regular basis.

How Clutter Cramps Your Productivity

How Clutter Cramps Your Productivity | Human Resources and Leadership good practice for SMEs | Scoop.it
Want to get more done Princeton neuroscientists say it's time to clear your desk.
Vicky Stanton's insight:

A clear desk policy may not be the annoyance that some see it as. Uncluttered space gives more space for thinking and increased productivity but it appears you have to get the balance right. Maybe you need to start leading by example and having a clearer work space an encorage your staff to do the same and see what benefits your business enjoys.

I agree with the main points in this post like 'Don't manage people, lead people', like 'Lead people through inspiration', like Inspiration creates problem-solvers', like Problem solvers use question' but I was eagerly waited for the promised in the title, the 'Qoaching questions that produce results' and what I received? 'What are you going to do about that problem you have'... Now, I'm just disappointed... this question clearly shows a flat thinking and, sorry, no creativity... If I would receive this question I would tell the guy: 'Look, therefore I've come here to you, see?' If you are not searching first what his/her goal would be, what resources he/she has, what exceptions are there when the problem is no so serious, what instances are there when the hoped-for outcome is already - at least in a tiny portion - happening, only hitting the ball directly back to the court of the client, well, then, it's perhaps not the most useful question and approach...
