ES2007 Professional Communication: Fostering Intercultural Communication

Culture is what identifies a group of people, is a shared and learnt human way of living and is intangible.  I am fascinated by the plethora of cultures present in the world today. There’s so much to learn from one another’s culture and I always feel that it would be very interesting to adapt to a foreign culture for a stipulated period of time to experience their lifestyle, language spoken and their way of communication.

Changes are afoot to make Downtown LA (the center of a metropolitan area that is notoriously tied to freeways and the private automobile) more walkable and reshape the look and feel to make it more of a neighborhood.

Ways To Help Hurricane Sandy Victims of the Jersey Shore - JiggAirsoft on YT

Our friend JIGG helps his friends and neigbors the best way he can; by gettting out HIS story.  If you can help, DO IT!

"Info behind the ABC News interview:
The woman being interviewed is my neighbor from down the shore. She and her roommate both stayed at their home (less than a block away from the ocean) to ride out Sandy. Her home was destroyed along with the rest of the Jersey Shore.

The Jersey Shore took a beating and we really need YOUR help. You can donate in any of the following ways:

this video shows the process from which political candidates win their respective elections. gerrymandering is an illegal use of power in the respect to redistricting and moving town lines in order to pump up voting power. this is an illegal action that happens countless times in elections and taper to higher powers. this gerrymandering idea takes the voter power to elect and puts it into the hands of the actual political personnel. by reshaping you can stack votes into one particular area this way you are guaranteed to win that district. this is where you see districts with these crazy shaped areas rather than nice square or other simple shapes.
