Jonathan Follett's curator insight, March 18, 2014 10:10 PM

There is almost no doubt that html5 is the future of the web. Unlike flash it works on all devices and requires no 3rd party API's. Browsing on phones, tablets and computers will only get easier.

Adam Woodbridge's curator insight, March 27, 2014 3:50 AM

HTML5 will provide a huge leap forward for the development of websites. It can eliminate the need for standalone apps and additional software. It is capable of displaying lightning fast videos and geolocation services which both previously needed applications or software to operate in browsers. Even though the language is not 100% completed yet, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Safari are already compatible with some HTML5 elements, which says a lot for the future of HTML5.
