What work is being done by the people - when, where, how is the work being done?  Are the people successful in doing the work?  Do we have people doing work that is above or below their competency level? What competencies are needed to be successful?  How do we develop and nurture the competencies?  How do we reward the work? 

 

Then look at the organization of tomorrow and ask the same questions...

What happens when Big Data meets human resources? The emerging practice of "people analytics" is already transforming how employers hire, fire, and promote.
Talitha Muller's insight:
Perhaps people analytics should just be the framework used to define the lens through which we all look at the same skills, characteristics, performance, etc. presented by candidates and employees - thus people analytics level out subconscious biases and provide an objective view of people. Once an objective framework has been established, each evaluator's subjective opinions based on personal experience can be used to obtain the full view of the person.
