Megatrends shaping the future of workspace

Megatrends shaping the future of workspace | Training and HR Matters | Scoop.it

he nature of work is changing. What we do during working hours, how we interact, exchange information, and the activities we perform at work are leagues away from the white collar worker of decades past.

We have closed the door on the industrial economy and have entered the knowledge economy. Our raw material is no longer tangible, it is made up of ideas and information.

Traditional work environments, closed cells, dull aesthetics and inflexible work areas no longer support the activities we conduct in the office, and consequently, the face of the ‘standard’ workplace is changing.

Top 10 Tips to Use Word Clouds in eLearning - eLearning Industry

Top 10 Tips to Use Word Clouds in eLearning - eLearning Industry | Training and HR Matters | Scoop.it
Word clouds are ideal for eLearning professionals who are looking for ways to visually represent text, whether this is content within an eLearning course or writings of the learners. Color and size can be used to denote a word's level of importance within the cloud, which helps learners to acquire and retain significant ideas (i.e. bolded words) more effectively. While word clouds are often associated with language arts eLearning courses, they can actually be used in virtually any eLearning setting.

Plugging the skills gap with continuous learning | Training Journal

Plugging the skills gap with continuous learning | Training Journal | Training and HR Matters | Scoop.it
