Nice blog on 'The Future of HR'. The blogger sees two important developments, Marketing & Analytics, and therefore has a tip for HR: "Keep Learning".

 

1. HR will need to become more like Marketing. I.e. Identifying specific segmentents of potential recruits, and evolving the internal marketing role (employer branding).

2. Big Data will redefine HR’s Role within the Company. "Just as big data has penetrated many other industries and markets, it will become a part of HR career advancement as wel." Thus, this will have an impact on the analytical skills of HR professionals in the near future.
