It’s possible to detect insider threats within a company just by looking at the words employees use to communicate with each other.

Cool research! Researchers discovered that the language people use in e-mail communication can somewhat predict their intentions and also show your 'real' identify.

 

From the original research abstract:

"Analysis of the language used in participants’ e-mails found that insiders became more self-focused, showed greater negative affect, and showed more cognitive processing compared to their coworkers. At the interpersonal level, insiders showed significantly more deterioration in the degree to which their language mimicked other team members over time."
