As long as you're prepared and frugal, student debt can be helpful, some experts attest.
Andrew's insight:

My thoughts:

This article can very helpful to anyone that is furthering their education. I now have a better understanding on what I should do when looking for ways to pay for college. I thought it is very smart and more than likely over looked is the fact that you should research what you can expect to make while working an entry level job in your field. As well as taking only what you need, there is no need to take more money than what you need to pay for your school.  It also is wise to keep a healthy mindset about your college debt. While you will graduate with some debt don’t just linger over the fact that you are going to have a lot of financial debt if you don’t do well and you are more than likely going to drop out in the long run. What the article says you should do is focus on your school and keep yourself motivated and you will do fine.

I think that this atricle is very helpful becuase it can help you determine how much you should borrow for college. Depending on how much you borrow could be the difference between you living with your parents after college or you living by yourself after college and having a job, but still paying of your stdent loans and such. This atricle helps because it is saying that it is okay to borrow money. But you don't want to borrow to much money.

My Thoughts:

This Article was eye opening for me, I really like how it gives you helpful tips on filling out the FAFSA and why you should fill it out. I now know that you should fill it out because you could get lower interest rates on loans. I also learned that for certain scholarships you have to fill it out or else you could not get that scholarship.  It is also a good idea to fill it out because it is essentially free money that you don’t have to pay back! I would strongly recommend filling out the FAFSA because you can get free money, get lower interest rates on loans and some scholarships require you to fill it out.

My Thoughts:

This is a very informative article explaining why you should fill out FAFSA early and not wait till after you have been accepted to college or after filling out your taxes. It also gives good tips on how to fill out the form that I didn't know before. I know now that if I wait to fill out the form there is a chance I will not get financial aid. I strongly suggest that everyone should fill out FAFSA as soon as they can and remember to fill out the form as accurately as possible.

I feel that when it comes to the FAFSA it is important because all you have to do is apply and fill out some paperwork and the government basically gives you free money. And I don't understand why some people haven't applied for the FAFSA. It helps you pay for college, and I know not everyone is going to be able to get scholarships that help them totally pay for their college tuition, so why not apply for it.
