LinkedIn Resume Builder Rocks

We bet you will never craft or share a  any other way. than with the very cool Resume Builder tool LinkedIn Labs created. Takes a little getting used to since the tool is fed by your LinkedIn profile, but it ROCKS after a few hours of training.

I liked the tool so much and the public facing webpage it generates I linked it off my LI Profile:

Anne Bosworth's curator insight, February 1, 2013 3:55 AM

This is the sort of development that will increasingly make it difficult for older job seekers who are less familiar with social networking photosharing and friendly commenting.

Anne Bosworth's comment, March 16, 2013 10:23 PM
I know those folks too, Susan. I don't doubt that you are exactly right about the willingness, creativity, hard work, and tenacity of older folks using technology. But I suspect that plenty of late Boomers are finding themselves surprised by what they need to do to get a second look for an interview, and yes, disappointed that their worth is so severely undervalued. I have several friends, myself included, recently laid off and we've all been a bit taken by surprise to find that replacing our employment and our salaries is so difficult. I'm sure we will all be learning how to build and refine our social résumés. By the way, I love your post and your knowledge. You professional creds and tenacity remind me a great deal of a woman whom I know, admire, and cherish very much. Blessings, Anne.
