Illawarra TAFE has confirmed it is reviewing the future of hospitality courses on the southern highlands and southern tablelands.
Teachers fear some courses in Moss Vale may be transferred to Goulburn, meaning students without a car would be forced to drop out, or use public transport to study in Sydney.
In a statement TAFE says hospitality courses including commercial cooking are under review, to make sure programs align with career and employment opportunities.
Any changes are expected to be fully in place by the start of next year.
Northern Tablelands voters look what's happening elsewhere in the bush and make sure you make your vote count on May 25. If you care about TAFE, about health, about public services, about agricultural land and water, keeping public infrastructure in taxpayers hands, safeguarding our communities and Nationals parks, consider giving your vote to me.
Here we go more TAFE smashing by NSW government in the bush.
Imagine waking up to the intoxicating, cinnamon-spiced scent of these festive flap jacks as they bubble away on the griddle. The whole house will hum along with the sizzling flip of each perfectly golden-brown pancake.
