There's a few great points in this article for those who are using Pinterest in their marketing.

(From the article): If you’re neglecting to complete your board description then you’re definitely not maximizing your results on Pinterest. Pinterest gives you 500 characters to work with so make sure you’re garnishing keywords in as many places as possible to help you get found on Pinterest and have a better chance of Pinners following you. How to Write a Business Plan

How to Write a Business Plan | Marketing with Social Media | Scoop.it

When preparation of a business plan is at the top of the SBA list of the ten steps to starting a business, it tells you something about how important the experts consider it to be. Planning a business and writing a business plan is more than just having a location picked and a product or service to sell.

Dawn Matheson's insight:

So many of us are so excited about our product or service that we just "jump right in." Unfortunately, without a road map (aka business plan) we end up mired and distracted from our goal.

Taking the time to build that plan - and using tools like this will get us where we want to be much faster.

Here's a comprehensive but palatable guide to writing a business plan. You will find links to examples and additional information. It's worth a read if you want to start a business. However, I wouldn't recommend developing a business plan in a vacuum, if you've never tried to do one before. Since this is one of the most important foundational steps you can take, it's worth investing the time in a coach that can challenge your thinking.
