The capital of Honduras is Tegucigalpa. It was named after the Indian word which means "silver mountains", because the area was abundent in silver. Comayagüela is Tegucigalpa's "twin sister" and they are only separated by the Choluteca River. They were founded in 1578 but officially became the capital in 1880. The city is not very big at all, everyone knows "who is who" around there.
