Homo Agilis (Collective Intelligence, Agility and Sustainability : The Future is already here)
For and about all those people working to build together a sustainable world through collective intelligence and agility. Knowledge to share and collective behaviours to adopt to build and foster a sustainable future for all of us.

MindShift Guide to Digital Games and Learning

MindShift Guide to Digital Games and Learning | Homo Agilis (Collective Intelligence, Agility and Sustainability : The Future is already here) | Scoop.it

The MindShift Guide to Digital Games and Learning started as a series of blog posts written by Jordan Shapiro with support from the Joan Ganz Cooney Center at Sesame Workshop and the Games and Learning Publishing Council. We’ve brought together what we felt would be the most relevant highlights of Jordan’s reporting to create a dynamic, in-depth guide that answers many of the most pressing questions that educators, parents, and life-long learners have raised around using digital games for learning.

Leadership Courage: Creating A Culture Where People Feel Safe To Take Risks

Leadership Courage: Creating A Culture Where People Feel Safe To Take Risks | Homo Agilis (Collective Intelligence, Agility and Sustainability : The Future is already here) | Scoop.it
The human ingenuity within any organisation are it's greatest competitive advantage. Yet according to the latest statistics, over half of todays workers are disengaged . When leaders are committed and actively working to engage, inspire and embolden – they unleash untapped potential and raise the bar not just on productivity, but on the value their organization contributes to all stakeholders.

Via Dr. Susan Bainbridge, Claude Emond
Claude Emond's insight:

It is not a matter of leading with courage but a matter of having the courage to lead. For me, if one does not accept to take risk and do not empower other people to exhibit genuine courage, one is not a leader. It is not unsafe to be courageous, it is the lack of courageous decisions that is unsafe.

IteratED is committed to bringing out and nurturing the best in all of our faculty and students. We understand that this requires greater autonomy to make decisions and more trust in the natural ability to learn through exploration.

Are you a teacher who wants to reach for your highest potential? We are here to help you get there. Contact IteratED for more information on how together we can provide exceptional 21st-century education.

| Homo Agilis (Collective Intelligence, Agility and Sustainability : The Future is already here) | Scoop.it

Geemik Maria Açucena Da Silva's curator insight, January 26, 7:03 AM
