Some good tips on falling asleep, although he is selling a "relaxation" pill. I don't agree with no water or liquids 4 hours before bed. That's impossible, especially living in a dry climate like Colorado.

Jin Shin Jyutsu is a an ancient Japanese form of touch therapy that you can perform on yourself  to help balance your energy and emotions through stimulating the meridians in our hands. The technique is simple, and can be done anywhere: Each finger is connected to different organs and emotions/attitudes.  Check the chart and decide whether to focus on one area of trouble or to do a whole body balance Hold the finger correlating to the emotion you want to calm, or the organ you want to heal for 3-5 minutes while breathing deeply. If you want a total body harmonization you can go through all of the fingers on each hand. In a study at Markey Cancer Center patients of all stages and types were able to feel positive benefits, including reduced stress and nausea after each of their sessions. I didn't realize these risks with apple cider vinegr. I can't imagine using it to brush my teeth or to refresh my breath since it feels abrasive to my teeth like too much lemon does. When I was a kid, the Alsatian brothers took it daily and they all lived to be 90 or more.

I don't think of these as "superfoods" since ginger and garlic are on the list, which I use in cooking daily! I love ginger tea. I have an easier way to make it than Chopra's: take 3-4 inches of ginger, wash it and grate it. Put in a pot of water and simmer for 15 minutes. Makes a bunch and you can store it for drinking later in glass jars in the refrigerator.

I like this attitude of stressing what is good to eat, and adding these things to your diet rather than being negative about what not to eat. This all sounds rather delicious compared to the Candida diet I am on, which is green veggies, herbs, spices, olive oil, lemon, garlic, certain nuts, eggs, tofu and skinless boneless chicken. Thank God I can eat avocado, my savior. It adds a yummy flavor to just about anything.
