Some ideas from this Huff Post blogger to lessen anxiety and live life more fully:

(1) Change Your Perspective.  Is the situation worth your worry?

(2) Put Your Worries on Paper.  Slow down racing thoughts.

(3) Work Hard.  Completing tasks helps you feel more in control.

(4) Say No.  Start creating boundaries and protect your time.

(5) Set Priorities.  Understand better your realistic expectations.

(6) Postpone Worry.  Why worry now when you can worry tomorrow?

(7) Say "STOP".  And say it out loud!

(8) Imagine the Worst.  This helps you to find a realistic scenario.

(9) Rehearse Success.  Feel what it feels like to reach your goals.

(10) Focus on the External World.  Get out of your head.
