Scientists have shown how #meditation makes the brain bigger and better. They mapped the brain function of Tibetan lamas trained in concentration and mental control and found higher levels of gamma brain waves and thicker brain cortexes (the areas associated with higher brain function) in meditators.

From the article:  Be unapologetic in your positivity even in the face of dire circumstances. Even when it seems that there is no way out, insist that there is one and that you just cannot see it at that moment. Though you may not have an answer now, be secure in the knowledge that there is an answer to every question you can ask. You may need to develop patience to wait out periods of “darkness”. Know that the light always comes.

Through my own personal growth and search to find balance, a day doesn't go by that I'm told to meditate.  There are so many ways to do meditation and even more benefits. My latest practice is a walking meditation where I repeat a mantra while walking through nature.  I love it and the affects it has on my overall well being are amazing.
