Traditional Newari City Tour, Kirtipur, Khokana, Bungamati

Traditional Newari City Tour, Kirtipur, Khokana, Bungamati | Holiday Package Nepal | Scoop.it
Traditional Newari City Tour offer pure Newari culture, tradition and lifestyle of Newari people live in Kathmandu Valley in Kirtipur, Khokana and Bungamati Area.
tourinfonepal's insight:

Bungamati, Khokana and Kirtipur are a day trip tour. These are entirely Newari city which contains Newari culture, tradition and lifestyle. We operate this tour in one day. It begins at 10 am to afternoon 4 pm which would be guided tour. We operate this tour in group, individual and family.

1. Bungamati

After lunch we proceed to Khokana and Bungamati. Khokana and Bungamati are the ancient Newari village (of the 16th century) alike Kirtipur but a visit to Khokana and Bungamati is a bit different to the visit to Kirtipur. The people in Khokana are involved in the traditional oil making which is the main attraction of the village and the people in Bungamati are involved more in traditional wood carving which one can see in the historic places in and around Kathmandu valley. This is the perfect "day hiking" trip
in Kathmandu.

 2. Khokana

3. Kirtipur city

Kirtipur is a magnificent exception to the usual Newari settlements. Perched on twin hillocks and clinging to the saddle about 5 kms from Kathmandu. Kirtipur has two satellite hamlets to the south, Panga and Nagaon.

The history of the village dates back to the 12th century when it was an outpost of the Patan but later on became a separate kingdom. The kingdom was so strong then it was defeated the Most powerful king of the Nepalese history three times when he tried to unify it with the Nepal. Remains of the fortified walls and part of the original 12 gates can still be seen.

Even though most of the people in the village are the Newar the differences in the culture and the daily ways of life can be seen during the tour as most of the people are farmers and have unique culture and tradition. Beside the village visit there are also some interesting temples such as Bag Bhairav, Chlanchu Vihar etc. Further form Kirtipur the temple of Goddess Dakshinakali is situated which is an important pilgrimage for Nepalese people. A visit to Kirtipur can be combined with the visit to Chovar and Panga as well.

Langtang Camping Trek - Sony Travels Agency/Nepal Jang Treks and Expedition organizes Langtang Camping Trek in Langtang Region of Nepal.
tourinfonepal's insight:

This is a new trekking route in the Ganesh Himal area, North of Kathmandu.
In a bid to encourage young people from different corners of the world to visit Nepal for their outdoor interests, Tourism Authorities of Nepal had been looking at different potentials and in this connection, Government of Nepal recently announced the opening of this new trekking route, named after the founder of International scouts, “Lord Baden Powell”. The trekking route had been opened for foreigners since 2004, but had rarely been approached by tourists. In 2007, Explore Himalaya organized the first ever expedition along this trekking route, for the International scouts in order to commemorate Lord Baden Powell.

The trek starts from Syabru Besi, after a day long drive from Kathmandu. On the way to Gatlang, the Goljung view point will, after a short 3 hour walk, give you an amazing panorama of the Ganesh Himal including Shishapangma (8013m) and Langtang Lirung (7246m). From here, you enter a quiet and unspoiled valley which will lead you to the Jageswor Lake after a 3 days hike. The steep trail goes through a dense forest where life seems to be suspended on time. This region of Nepal is inhabited by the Tamang people and sharing a milk tea with them is an unforgettable experience. The ascent will eventually end up at almost 4200m and views from the south ridge of this mountain chain are truly breathtaking. For the next 2 days, you and your Nepali team will follow the ridge to the north direction at an average altitude of 4500 meters high. Views of majestic mountain ranges remain your companion throughout this section of the trek.

At Changan Kharka, the descent to Tatopani starts passing through small Tamang settlements and large forest while following the Sanjen Khola stream. The 2 day descent will lead you to Tatopani located at 2600 meters high. A bath in the Hot Springs is a must do and a reward after the accomplished wild camping trek. Day long walks lead you to a new valley where you will be completely immerged into the Tamang culture (in Thuman, Rasuwagadi and Briddim). You will follow the Bhote Kosi River on the left side of the valley to the North and then come back on the opposite side on your way back to Syabru Besi, from where it all began.

Adult Vacations and Holidays in Nepal

Adult Vacations in today’s world, vacation packages and resorts are becoming much more affordable. Families are able to take trips to exotic and tropical destinations—but some people want their vacations to be quiet, peaceful, and upscale. For this reason, adult only vacations have gained popularity in the recent years. Many luxury hotel brands offer all-inclusive adult vacations, often with guests needing to be sixteen, eighteen, or even twenty-one to be able to purchase lodging.
Sometimes, families want to leave the little ones at home and pamper and indulge themselves. Hotels such as Secrets resorts are strictly adults only, designed to give couples the chance for privacy, relaxation, and romance. These adult vacations are catered to those looking for upscale accommodation, oftentimes with suites that have nothing but the highest quality linens, furniture, marble, and tiling. Rooms like this may not be the best option when bringing young ones on a trip, but they are perfect for adult vacations.
Additionally, since many all inclusive adult vacations stress quality and luxury over affordability, the cost per person may be much more than what many families are willing to pay for more than two people. Instead of being a “bargain vacation”, most travelers on adult only vacations are looking to treat themselves to a holiday, or a special destination where they can reconnect and allow romance to take over their time there.
Of course, there is another reason besides quality and luxury that adult only vacations are in existence. We have many choices of Hotel, Resorts and lodges are available in Nepal and other different countries. In Nepal some hotel and resorts are especially are designed for adult single vacations, where instead of romance and reconnection, the focus is on meeting people and hooking up. These all inclusive adult vacations are basically akin to college spring break, with wild parties and entertainment that is strictly best kept to those above a certain impressionable age. Adult single vacations are usually much more geared towards partying and having a good time with the opposite sex, so for this reason they are strictly for adults.
For those attending a resort inn or day spa, usually they will discover that they are adults only as well. Since certain treatments, such as facials and massages, aren’t recommended for younger children, it would make sense to keep the spa premises as quiet and relaxing as possible –which usually means no children are allowed.
So for those looking for adult single vacations to enjoy meeting new people and wild parties, or for those who simply want an adult vacation to relax with their significant other and enjoy high class pampering, adult only vacations are perfect.

Couple Vacations

Couple Vacations | Holiday Package Nepal | Scoop.it

Couples Vacations Being with your loved one has many exciting events and important milestones, but one of the most enjoyable is taking a vacation with them. Couples vacations have increased in popularity in the past few years, especially all inclusive couples vacations. Whether it is a new love, a honeymoon, or an anniversary celebration, there are destinations and trips for every couple out there. Whether you are seeking a small bed-and-breakfast type inn, or a luxurious suite at a five-star resort, a couples vacation is a great way to bond, discover each other, reconnect, or fall in love all over again.

Nepal has many romantic and beautiful places to enjoy a honeymoon coupe. There are many hotels and resorts in different categories to suit any kinds of couple whether they would be economy class or high standard class. We are able to provide all kinds of services and facilities for a couple as they offer in Nepal.

Without the screaming sounds of children playing—which is cute, but may not be something that someone on a holiday or honeymoon is really in the mood to hear--or shouts of parents trying to control them. All inclusive couples vacations provide dining that many younger children may not enjoy, since the cuisine at couples resorts tends to be on the upscale side and considered “gourmet dining”.

Accommodations at couples resorts usually tend to be geared towards romance as well. Most upscale, luxury resorts have rooms that contain marble floors, tropical hardwood, a massive king or queen sized bed with fluffy comforters and pillows and silky sheets. The bathrooms are usually marble and glass, oftentimes with Jacuzzis or bathtubs with jets in them. Patios and balconies furnished with beautiful tropical furniture and tasteful decorations in the room make the views inside almost as beautiful as the ones outside.

Sony Travels offer special packages for those on a honeymoon or just want some additional romance or pampering. We mean couple only should not be limit in the decorated room; they would be able to enjoy and relax with nature, culture, tradition and Himalayas of Nepal. For an additional enjoyment we designated many special package program so that couple could experience and feelings of different places of Nepal.
