I thought my final scoop would be perfect if I ended with this article about recent years of Korean film. The athuor added how the history of Korea affected the film history.  The author added that film's theme change by the different decade and explained the popularity of the film.

This youtube channel has many of the classic Korean Films that you cannot find anywhere. It is free and the movies date back to 1930's. One of the movie I watched for this project was Yang San providence. I noticed that camera angles and the camera work was not as advanced as America. But, it was still popular in Korea due to it was movies that people could understand.

This page was helpful because it was in English so it can be visually seen by American readers. It also gives a timeline where it is easy to read. From this article I learned that early Korean film was destroyed by the Japenese invasion. The article gives insight on the history of Korea while explaing the film history. After reading the article, I've noticed that it is shorter than history of Europe and America's film but it is one of the fastest growing film country in the world.

The arthur noted that the first time Film was introduced was by an American travler name Elisa Burton Homes. She introdced it the the King of Korea. It is said that shey was awared with silk and gold from the King and it was only allowed in the palace till few years later.

This video includes actuall films from the early days of the history. The video made it easy for viewers to understand the start of the history by showing bits from the actuall piece. In the video, you can see the drastic change in the film by from black and white to color and the different film make up they used to actors.

The article mentioned popular movies that many Koreans likes. Also, they included places to visit for important sight for movie industry.

This video caught my eyes because it was first Korean Film Festival that was held in Atlanta. It was on the GSU campus. The video showed that it was not only just the Koreans that were interested in Korean Films. The volunteers of the festival was very diverse and it was a huge success. I know that they recently held a second one this year.

The article helped with the topic because it gave detailed information about beginning history of Korean Film. The article state that Films were showed to the population June of 1903. It was shown it Seoul every night 8pm-10pm excluding the rainly nights. The first film was the arrival of the train(we saw it in class!! I thought it was super cool when I read this!) The newspaper helped spreading the word about the showing. Soon after the first film was shown, the first Movie Company of Korea called, Seoul Electric Company was born.
