Ten gronde is gisteren in Brussel duidelijk geworden hoe veel – of hoe weinig – die veelgeroemde Europese waarden eigenlijk nog voorstellen. We betalen liever een fiks bedrag om geen vluchtelingen meer binnen te krijgen. En we geven de sleutel aan een regime dat mensenrechten, vrije meningsuiting en de rechtsstaat met de voeten treedt.
