The travel industry has pioneered a lot of analytics, including loyalty and scheduling programmes. But it has somewhat rested on its laurels and is now at a crossroads where it must decide whether to step up to the plate and invest in Big Data.

Interview focused on the launch of Amadeus commissioned study into big data in the travel sector which I worked on. Paper authored by Thomas Davenport, Harvard professor, excellent spokesperson and all round good chap.
