Two critical issues appear in the field of scientific research: find more funding and be more close to citizen. Crowd funding is able to solve both points by providing new source of funding and opening science projects. Moreover science crowdfunding open also the possibility to involve directly citizen in research project through citizen science and e-health

Les étudiants ne sont pas satisfaits de la réforme éducative proposée par la présidente jeudi dernier.

 

Les autorités chiliennes en avaient plein les bras avec les étudiants présents dans les rues de Santiago. Selon les sources, entre 50.000 et 150.000 personnes sont allées manifester leur mécontentement contre la réforme éducative présentée jeudi par la présidente Michelle Bachelet. De plus, la corruption était au cœur des préoccupations émises par les manifestants dans la capitale du pays.

Les policiers sont sortis pour disperser la foule. Cette intervention a provoqué certains affrontements avec les jeunes hommes et femmes exprimant leur désaccord. Le thème de l'éducation est très sensible au Chili. Il n'est pas rare de voir des étudiants manifester. Cependant, la corruption dont est accusée la présidente du pays est plutôt inhabituelle. The European Parliament has thrown a spanner into the works of European Commission chief Jean-Claude Juncker’s plan to slash €2.7 billion from the European Union's 2014 to 2020 research budget for a new investment fund to help ramp up Europe's economy. Although E.U. member states seem happy to sign off on Juncker's proposal, the Parliament says the European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI) must find its money elsewhere.
