Le mouvement étudiant a dépassé les frontières du Québec mercredi, avec des rassemblements à Toronto, à Saint-Jean-de-Terre-Neuve, à Halifax et à Calgary.
Une poignée de villes étrangères ont aussi emboîté le pas, comme New York, Paris, Amsterdam, Bruxelles et San Jose, au Costa Rica. À Londres, environ 150 personnes se sont rassemblées devant la Maison du Canada, près de Trafalgar Square, afin de protester contre la loi 78 adoptée au Québec.
