Llegas una mañana a clase y dices a tus alumnos: “Hoy vamos a realizar una actividad usando Twitter”. Aunque de entrada puede sorprender, en España ya se está utilizando Twitter como medio de aprendizaje de forma muy satisfactoria dentro del aula TIC y de hecho el aprendizaje continúa tras las clases.

El profesor de secundaria, Tyler DeWitt estaba muy entusiasmado con su lección sobre las bacterias (¡genial!)... pero quedó destrozado cuando sus alumnos la odiaron. El problema estaba en el libro de texto que era imposible de entender. Lanza un llamado emotivo para que los educadores de ciencias dejen de lado la jerga y la precisión extrema, y que a cambio hagan que la ciencia se enseñe a través de historias y demostraciones.
