It’s a good idea to practice some regular mood-enhancing activities, such as taking a walk each day (if your doctor approves the exercise). Keeping up your social life is great for releasing stress and making sure that you don’t feel disconnected. Devote time to hobbies you enjoy, as this is a time-honored way of naturally reducing the effects of stress on the body and mind. If things seem “off” in any way, or if you find yourself having thoughts which are very out of character for you, see a doctor right away and stay healthy!

Lloyd monitored me extremely closely. He was staying with me all the time, monitoring every meal, every portion, actually every morsel and my liquid intake. The food was saltless, raw and tasteless and I would not recommend it to even an enemy. He gave me only fish, broccoli, turkey and green tea. The turkey was cooked in less than a tablespoon of oil. I was not allowed rotis or rice or sweets. I was given minimum oil plus my proteins shake after a workout. I would carry my six dabbas with me for shooting, where I would heat it and eat it. Their process is called Drastic Transformation Programme (DTP).

You’ve heard of the “See-Food” diet haven’t you? No, that’s not the diet where you load up on fish, lobster, crab and mussels. The See-Food Diet is the one that so many of us crack jokes about     it’s the diet where you eat everything in sight!

At home, if your significant other or family is not willing to remove all offending foods from the premises, then get their agreement that their food is not to remain in plain sight – it goes in the back of a refrigerator drawer and not on the shelf at eye level, or if non-perishable, it goes inside a cupboard that is exclusively the domain of the other person.

At work, tell your office pals to keep the candy, doughnuts and other temptations off your desk, at a distance and out of sight. If they put any unhealthy snacks on your desk, promptly remove them!

Environmental cues can trigger you to eat impulsively. If you can see it and reach it, you’ll eat more of it, and you’ll forget how much you ate. So get the junk out of your home and office now and if you can’t, then get it out of your sight. If you can’t do that, get it out of arms reach.

Better yet, setup an “environment for success” with a lifestyle program like my Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle system.

If you’re trying to fill out or build muscle, your cardio exercise will be minimal as you don’t want to be burning off too many additional calories.

If you’re looking to lose fat on the other hand, then you’ll want to add more cardio in.

Cardio should be a mixture of interval session as well as longer, moderate paced sessions to keep good balance in your program.

Just be sure to never let yourself sacrifice your weight lifting performance for cardio training instead as cardio simply isn’t as effective for changing your body.
