Health and social care and becoming progressivley inter-related, with more and more care reaching out into the community - just like it was intended back in the 70/80's when they closed down some of the hidden away institutions that were psychiatric care. Unmarried mother's and people with conditions like epilepsy had been often held in such places for no sane reason.
