Almost nothing is known about TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) in humans because it is so hard to study!  The fly may be a surprising new model!  When they collide with something they get temporarily stunned, the lose coordination for a short time, they undergo neurodegeneration and some eventually die!  Eerily similar to TBI in humans.
